Engagement Status
On October 10, 2023, M-B Stucco Ltd. (the “Bankrupt“) was adjudged bankrupt by order (the “Bankruptcy Order“) of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (In Bankruptcy and Insolvency) (the “Court“), and Baigel Corp., Licensed Insolvency Trustee, was appointed as trustee of the estate of the Bankrupt. The Application for the Bankruptcy Order (Court File No. BK-23-00208612-OT31) (the “Bankruptcy Application“) was made by Bank of Montreal (in such capacity, the “Applicant“), a creditor of the Bankrupt, and issued on March 2, 2023. The Applicant obtained an order from the Court, dated May 29, 2023, that provided for, among other things, substituted service of the Bankruptcy Application on the Bankrupt.
The first meeting of creditors will be conducted remotely via Zoom videoconference and is for the creditors of the Bankrupt only. Therefore, for security purposes, creditors wishing to attend should advise the Trustee of their identity and intent to attend prior to the meeting and a password will be issued. This will assist security screening and expedite the admittance of creditors to the meeting itself.
